Here are answers to some of our most frequently asked questions:
Q: If I were to try just one clariSEA product, what would it be?
A: Ocean Saltwater Clear Skin Cleanser
Q: I saw that clariSEA is Certified Peta Cruelty Free & Vegan. What about Leaping Bunny?
A: We are now Leaping Bunny certified as well.
Q: How long will it take for my skin to clear up after starting the products?
A: Your skin can start to clear up and improve after just one use. But for consistently clearer skin, the products have to be used consistently for 2-3 weeks.
Q: Do you use parabens or phenoxyethanol in your products?
A: No, we use dual purpose naturally derived preservatives like Aspen Bark Extract, Gluconodeltalactone, Radish Root and Honeysuckle which preserve the product while offering the skin myriad skin clearing, toning and line minimizing benefits. We also use a safe synthetic called Benzyl Alcohol in the products more prone to mold and bacterial growth because of high percentages of clay.
Q: Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
A: Yes, I specifically formulated all of the products for sensitive skin that's also breakout prone. Many of the products including the Ocean Saltwater Clear Skin Cleanser, Daily Glow Clarifying Rose Toner and Pretty Skin Moisturizer can also help rosacea and bring down the redness in skin. We don't use any harsh ingredients to treat breakouts and load the formulas with Organic Rosewater and Organic Aloe to help balance and hydrate the skin so redness and irritation don't have anywhere to go but away.
Q: Do all of the products contain Sea Salt?
A: No! Only the products in the Sea Salt Solutions line contain Sea Salt. None of the products in the Charcoal Solutions or Radical Rosehip lines contain sea salt. You can find what role sea salt plays in each of the Sea Salt Solutions products on the product pages. For instance, our clarifying and healing sea salt blend is dissolved into the base of the Ocean Saltwater Cleanser, Daily Glow Clarifying Rose Cleanser, Deep Pore Detox Charcoal Cleanser and Salt & Mud Peel In A Scrub. Sea Salt only does the exfoliating in the Charcoal Salt Crush Clearing Scrub, Coconut Coffee Repairing Cream Scrub and Exfoliants. Our sea salt blend is a very fine powder so it's safe to use on even the most sensitive skin. You can control the level of exfoliation in each of the above products by adding water or dissolve the sea salt all together and still benefit from all its healing qualities.
The ocean seawater cleanser is my absolute favorite. I live in the northeast and suffer from allergies that was making skin itchy. After visiting the gulf and swimming it cleared the itchy redness up. Got home and it came back. Someone recommended Clarisea so I gave it a try. Needless to say I wont be going back to my old products💜. No itchy redness here.
