Our Formulas

When I first started clariSEA, I searched out a contract manufacturer to make the original cleanser, scrub and mask because I didn't know how. I quickly learned that we wouldn't have as much control over the formulas as we wanted! 

Contract manufacturers usually have a certain type of base that they use for cleansers, moisturizers, creams, etc. and then they just tweak little things here and there for your brand. Which means tons of duplication throughout the industry and no real benefit to the consumer. That wasn't good enough! So after 3 different contract manufacturers and 6 years of frustration, I took matters into my own hands and learned how to formulate the products I'd always wanted for our customers. Now we formulate all of our own products and manufacture each small batch at our facility in NJ.

Every product is formulated to either USDA Organic or Ecocert and therefore Whole Foods standards. That means no polymers, sulfates, glycols, parabens, phthalates, fragrance or phenoxyethanol. We minimize emulsifiers and gelling agents in order to maximize the unique and powerful effect of each organic ingredient on your skin. The result is better, clearer, healthier, transformed skin with a different type of texture and glow AND not to mention a healthier body from super clean products day in and day out!
